Dr. Jamie Horvath is the youngest of seven children and grew up in Martins Ferry, Ohio. After her undergraduate work at The Ohio State University, she went on to earn a Doctor of Optometry degree at The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1994. Dr. Horvath is a therapeutically licensed optometrist with a special interest in contact lenses, management of eye disease, LASIK and cataracts. Customizing dry eye treatment for patients has become a primary focus of Dr. Jamie. Patients are finding dry eye relief in Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and Low Level Light Therapy (LLLT) treatments. She has been an active participant in the One Sight Program providing complimentary eye care to those in need. She has also volunteered for kindergarten eye screenings, eye talks to children, as well as Vision Van services. Dr. Horvath has lived in Lewis Center since 1999 where she and her husband, Mark, have raised their two children, Morgan and Grant. She is a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Sunbury. In addition to exercising, volunteering with Meals on Wheels, watching sports and eating at her favorite restaurants, she especially appreciates spending time with her husband and children.
