Dr. Mark Horvath is a dedicated optometrist with over three decades of experience delivering compassionate, personalized eye care to his patients. A native of Martins Ferry, Ohio, Dr. Horvath graduated from Bellaire St. John’s High School before earning his Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University in 1994. Driven by a passion for improving lives through better vision, he established Horvath Vision Care in May 1999 with a commitment to clinical excellence and patient-focused service.
Board certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease, Dr. Mark Horvath has a special interest in contact lens fitting, dry eye therapy, ocular surface disease, and allergy-related eye conditions. He is a proud 30-year member of both the Ohio Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association, and he has served in leadership as a zone governor within the Ohio Optometric Association.
Beyond his professional life, Dr. Mark Horvath believes deeply in the importance of family and community. He lives in Lewis Center with his wife of over 30 years, Jamie, and cherishes time spent with their grown children, Morgan and Grant. An active lifestyle enthusiast, he enjoys landscaping , working out, and traveling with his family. Dr. Horvath is also a devoted member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Sunbury, Ohio.
