Dr. Leach, a native of Upper Arlington, received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2003, graduating cum laude. She completed a geriatric primary care optometric residency at the American Lake Veterans Hospital in Tacoma, Washington and was President of the Seattle-area King County Optometric Association in 2008 before returning to Columbus and joining Horvath Vision Care in 2009.
Her vision and eye care interests include myopia control for kids, cataract co-management, and multifocal contact lens fits. Lara has also been accredited to fit scleral contact lenses. With an undergraduate degree in Spanish, she also enjoys providing eye care for Spanish-speaking patients. She is a volunteer for the Realeyes Ohio eye education program for kids and Dublin St. Brigid of Kildare Troop 117 adult leader. She resides in Dublin with her husband Matt and sons Henry and Wyatt.
